In 2019, the tax credit for solar was 30%. Today, November 25, 2021, the tax credit is 26% and schedule to be reduced again in 2024 to 23%, unless congress extends the tax credit.
Half a trillion dollars has just been approved by congress through the Biden administration for clean, renewable energy, and a big chuck of that will come direct to those willing to make the move to solar. That is some serious coin and only those of us willing to take the first steps shall be awarded for our participation. The Federal tax credit is scheduled to level off at 10% after 2025, so now is the time.
States are also a great source of rebates, grants and additional tax credits. Local governments are also rewarding solar power enthusiasts.
Here's a sweet nugget; your solar panels can generate enough excessive power to earn cash, what?
Let me explain. When your solar panels generate more electricity than your household uses, then the electricity flows the other way. When this occurs, other homes will use the power and you will notice positive amounts with credits instead of negative amounts for electricity consumption, aka Net Metering.
Just another positive way we learn from the leaf!
Turning solar energy into good looks is easy with a little creative imagination. Design teams can recommend or you can be part of the design. Let your imagination run wild, create the next design craze.
